Job Summary

Ortho Max Mfg Co. Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager – Domestic to drive sales growth across the West Bengal Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical devices or orthopaedic implant industry and will be responsible for developing business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving regional sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed regional sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships across Punjab, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, trauma centres, and healthcare institutions.
  • Schedule product demonstrations, surgeon meetings, training sessions, and provide technical support as required.
  • Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse market dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities within the assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Track sales performance, prepare periodic reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share throughout the assigned region.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and company requirements related to sales activities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and build long-term business relationships.
  • Manage distributor and dealer networks within the assigned territories, where applicable.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of proven sales experience in the Medical Devices or Orthopaedic Implant industry (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly Orthopaedics and Trauma Care.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Hindi is essential. Knowledge of Punjabi is preferred. Familiarity with regional languages is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Punjab, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and territory management capabilities.
