Senior Product Applications Engineer

Job Description:

The charter of Analog Devices’ Consumer Audio team is to develop cutting-edge products for hearables, hearing health, and prosumer audio markets. These mixed-signal audio edge processors combine precision audio, heterogeneous processing, power management, connectivity and algorithms to enable next-generation user experiences.

In this role, you will contribute to product bring-up, validation, and system debug while building strong application expertise in audio products. You will work across silicon, embedded software, connectivity, and customer use cases, collaborating with global cross-functional teams to help bring innovative audio solutions to market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE/MSEE in Electronics or equivalent degree with 5-8 years of progressive experience in Applications engineering, product engineering, validation, or embedded systems development
  • Hands-on experience with mixed-signal systems and audio signal chains
  • Working knowledge of wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth in embedded audio systems
  • Experience in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded bring-up, debug, test automation and data analysis
  • Experience with PCB bring-up, schematic review, and board level debugging
  • Familiarity with debugging the hardware/software boundary
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across globally distributed teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers and field teams, including issue reproduction, triage, and resolution
  • Develop strong product knowledge and translate features into clear application guidance, reference implementations, and debug recommendations
  • Debug hardware and software issues at board and system levels using lab setups and evaluation platforms
  • Develop and maintain evaluation kits, reference platforms, and example use cases for customer adoption
  • Create high-quality technical collateral including application notes, user guides, and demo documentation
  • Collaborate closely with product design, system applications, software, and marketing teams to improve product usability
  • Support development of customer demos and proof-of-concept systems for internal and external engagements
  • Work effectively with global teams across multiple sites to support product lifecycle execution
