Engineer - Finishing

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finishing Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing and supervising all finishing works for residential projects while maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all finishing activities including:

Floor and wall tiling
Internal & external painting
Wall putty, plaster corrections and texture finishes
False ceiling works
Doors, windows and hardware installation
Modular kitchen and wardrobe coordination
Sanitaryware and CP fittings
Electrical fixtures and final finishing

Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site supervisors.
Prepare daily progress reports and monitor project schedules.
Conduct inspections and prepare snag lists before handover.
Ensure finishing works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Minimize rework through proactive quality checks.

Requirements

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in finishing works for residential or commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishing techniques and quality standards.
Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
Good coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in project handover and client snag resolution will be an advantage.
