Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as ONSITE , General Shift, 45 hours per week, 6-month duration. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM TCI office five times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
We are looking for an Engineering Intern to support a focused mini project.The intern will work on a practical engineering problem related to throughput simulation, layout design, or IE Applications support activities, and help develop, test, or improve a solution using technical and analytical skills.
What You’ll Do

Work on a defined mini project with clear goals, timeline, and deliverables

Analyze data and identify insights to support engineering decisions

Support development or customization of tools used by the team

Use coding, analytical, simulation, or digital tools as needed for the project

Explore and apply artificial intelligence based use cases where relevant

Prepare clear documentation of the work completed, findings, and recommendations

Present project results to the team at the end of the internship

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Basic coding knowledge in one or more programming languages

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with data analysis tools

Interest in throughput simulation, layout design, or engineering tool development

Ability to learn new software and engineering tools quickly

Good communication and documentation skills

Exposure to engineering simulation tools

Experience with dashboards, data visualization, or analytical platforms

Understanding of tool customization or automation

Interest in applying artificial intelligence to engineering problems
