• Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies aligned with EvinceDev's business objectives, focusing on live data, transaction volumes, and data accuracy.
• Test Planning & Execution: Lead the creation, maintenance, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts across all releases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional, performance, and security testing.
• Automation: Build and manage automated testing frameworks (UI, API, and regression) to increase efficiency and coverage, particularly for high-frequency transactions and data-intensive scenarios.
• AI Augmented QA & Automation: Drive adoption of AI based testing tools and practices, including AI assisted test case generation, self healing automation scripts, predictive defect and risk analysis, and use of AI or LLM tools for log and anomaly analysis, to increase coverage and reduce manual QA effort across the team.
• Performance & Load Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application handles large real-time transaction and data volumes without degrading performance or user experience.
• Security & Penetration Testing: Plan and oversee security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and close risks across the application, APIs, and data layers.
• Data Integrity & Accuracy: Implement testing processes that guarantee live data is secure, consistent, and reliable across all transactions.
• Team Management, Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and mentor the QA team owning task allocation, capacity planning, performance reviews, and skill development while embedding QA best practices.
• Hands On Contribution: Personally contribute to critical, complex, or high risk test scenarios such as security, performance, and AI tooling pilots, while leading and mentoring the broader QA team. This role is a hands on individual contributor position as well as a leadership position, not management only.
• Collaboration: Partner with development, product, and data teams to understand requirements, surface risks early, and align testing with project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify quality risks early in the SDLC and drive effective mitigation strategies with crossfunctional teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Reporting: Produce detailed QA reports, metrics, and documentation to communicate test results, quality status, and issues to stakeholders.

Must Have Skills

• Experience: 7+ years in QA with at least 2 years in a QA Lead / managerial role, managing a team in a datadriven or high-transaction environment.
• QA Fundamentals: Strong command of QA methodologies, the STLC, and test design techniques across manual and automated testing.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on expertise building and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, plus API automation (Postman, REST Assured).
• AI Based Testing Tools: Practical experience with at least one AI driven testing or automation tool or framework (e.g. Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or similar), and the ability to evaluate and pilot new AI QA tooling for team wide adoption.
• Performance & Load Testing: Proven experience with tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, or LoadRunner for highvolume, real-time transaction scenarios.
• Security & Penetration Testing: Practical knowledge of application security testing, the OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing using tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
• Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, allocate, mentor, and review a QA team and own delivery quality end-to-end.
• Data-Driven Focus: Proven experience testing live data, high transaction volumes, and data accuracy, with an understanding of the unique challenges these present.

Primary Skills & Tools

• Test Management & Tooling: Familiarity with test/defect management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr) and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• CI/CD & DevOps Awareness: Understanding of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• AI/ML Awareness for QA: Conceptual understanding of how AI and ML based systems are tested differently from traditional deterministic software, covering data quality validation, model output validation, and edge case or bias testing. A plus given EvinceDev's fintech, healthcare, and insurance client base.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with developers, data engineers, and product managers to meet quality objectives.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Leadership: Experience leading a QA team with a focus on mentoring and developing members.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, able to present complex quality issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good To Have

• Database/SQL skills for back-end and data-integrity validation.
• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or other high-transaction / live-data domains.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized testing (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience defining QA metrics, dashboards, and quality KPIs at an organizational level.
• AI Copilot Integration: Experience integrating AI copilots such as GitHub Copilot or Claude into the development lifecycle for test authoring or code review support.
• Compliance Frameworks: Exposure to compliance frameworks relevant to client industries, specifically ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
