Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability, reliability, and performance of the network infrastructure supporting the Lucknow Smart City ICCC. The role focuses on maintaining seamless connectivity across integrated smart systems including ICCC operations, ITMS, surveillance, GIS, data center, and other critical components during the O&M phase, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and firewall configurations
- Oversee network connectivity and communication backbone across Smart City components
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for uptime, bandwidth, and issue resolution
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and SLA compliance
- Support data center and network infrastructure operations
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution
- Maintain network security, redundancy, and failover mechanisms
- Handle incident management, escalation, and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with contractual O&M obligations and service delivery requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated system operations
- Prepare and maintain network documentation, reports, and MIS dashboards
Required Skills
- Strong experience in enterprise network administration (8–10 years)
- Expertise in routing & switching (Cisco/Juniper/Equivalent)
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security
- Experience in data center network operations
- Familiarity with Smart City/ICCC environments (preferred)
- Experience handling ISP coordination and vendor management
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and performance tuning
- Understanding of SLA-based service delivery in O&M projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet NSE / Aruba / HPE are a plus

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
