As an Integration Engineer, you will create, build and support global integration applications for all aspects of our commercial business, that will help to drive New Balance to be a Top 3 Global Athletic Brand. This will be accomplished through the development, planning and implementation of strategic and responsive technical initiatives that support consistent business growth, expand market share and strengthen brand equity and reputation.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement EDI, API ad MFT integrations according to business requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop custom connectors and middleware to bridge communication gaps between disparate systems.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to facilitate seamless communication between different systems.
- Define appropriate technical specifications, including endpoints, data formats, authentication mechanisms, and error handling.
- Evaluate existing integrations for potential enhancements and optimization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in Enterprise integrations and recommend adoption where applicable.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and priorities.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate with external partners or third-party vendors for integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize integrations for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement monitoring and logging mechanisms to track integration usage, identify issues, and ensure service uptime and reliability.
- Proactively address security vulnerabilities and compliance requirements related to all integrations.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- Solid problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of development experience in relevant technologies (C#, Azure Logic Apps, PowerBI, Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with Integrations frameworks (e.g., AIS, Mulesoft, Sterling B2B) and tools (e.g., AIS, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Postman).
- Understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks completely and independently.
- Ability to generate clarity in ambiguous situations
Flexible Work Schedule

North American office-based associates are expected to come into the office on Wednesdays, with other occasional in-office days for in-person meetings and events as needed.
