Kubernetes Senior Technical Lead - Azure DevOps

Job Summary
Monitor system health, performance, and availability of applications/platforms
Manage incidents, problem resolution, and RCA Drive automation of operational tasks and deployments
Improve system reliability, scalability, and observability
Implement SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
Support CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in scripting (Python / Bash / Shell) Understanding of networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers)
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of devops solutions, leveraging kubernetes and azure devops tools.
2. Manage and mentor a team of devops engineers to ensure efficient delivery and operation of software projects.
3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve deployment pipelines.
4. Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring in a cloud environment.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to devops tools, kubernetes clusters, and azure services.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend enhancements and optimizations for the devops environment.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong expertise in devops solutions, kubernetes, and azure devops tools.
2. Proficiency in designing and implementing ci/cd pipelines for automated software delivery.
3. Experience with containerization technologies such as docker and container orchestration with kubernetes.
4. Deep understanding of cloud services on azure, including resource management, networking, security, and monitoring.
5. Solid scripting skills (e.g., powershell, bash) for automation and configuration management tasks.
6. Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and innovation in a fast paced environment.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Other Requirements
1.Relevant certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes,Terraform, Splunk and Azure (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Microsoft Certified1.Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) would be a plus.
