Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Life Annuities (LA) within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance products and processes, coupled with the analytical skills necessary to drive business improvements and support strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Life Annuities.
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements within the insurance domain.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and validate business requirements.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the Life Annuities sector.
Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, specifically in Life Annuities.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with insurance software systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in business analysis within the insurance sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
