Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a part-time . The intern will support lead generation efforts, identify partnership opportunities, and assist in building relationships with brands, agencies, and community partners. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, analyzing audience and competitor data, preparing outreach lists, and participating in client communication under guidance from senior team members. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on proposals, presentations, and follow-ups. This position offers hands-on exposure to business development within a fast-growing, content-driven organization.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and professional email etiquette.
- Lead generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential partners or clients.
- Market research skills to study industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behavior.
- Customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Interest in storytelling, digital media, or community-focused brands; previous internship experience in business development, sales, or marketing is a plus.
