Compliance & Sustainability Manager
Lubi Electronics is looking for a Compliance & Sustainability Manager to establish and manage the company's global compliance framework. The role will be responsible for maintaining ISO management systems, workplace safety, ESG initiatives, multinational customer compliance, product regulatory compliance, and supplier qualification processes.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with manufacturing, industrial automation, electrical, electronic, or engineering companies supplying multinational customers.
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- ISO Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is desirable.
- ESG or Sustainability certification is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. ISO Management Systems
- Maintain and continuously improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Lead internal audits and management review meetings.
- Coordinate certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Drive CAPA implementation and timely closure.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, work instructions, and compliance records.
2. Health, Safety & OSHA Compliance
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable Indian safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Organize employee safety training and emergency response drills.
- Monitor safety KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
3. ESG & Sustainability
- Develop and manage the company ESG roadmap.
- Collect, validate, and report ESG data.
- Support carbon footprint measurement and reduction initiatives.
- Monitor energy, water, waste, and environmental performance.
- Prepare sustainability reports for customers and management.
- Coordinate ESG initiatives across all business functions.
4. Global Customer Compliance
- Manage compliance requirements for multinational customers and global OEMs.
- Complete customer onboarding documents and supplier qualification packages.
- Respond to customer compliance questionnaires and audits.
- Manage customer Codes of Conduct and Responsible Business requirements.
- Coordinate customer factory audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Support global customers with sustainability and ESG information requests.
5. Vendor Compliance
- Develop supplier compliance processes.
- Conduct supplier qualification and compliance assessments.
- Monitor supplier certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure vendors meet customer and statutory compliance requirements.
- Support responsible sourcing and ethical procurement initiatives.
6. Product & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate compliance documentation for CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Conflict Minerals (CMRT), and SCIP requirements.
- Maintain Declaration of Conformity documentation.
- Ensure technical files and compliance documentation remain current.
- Coordinate with principals and certification agencies regarding product approvals.
7. Business Ethics & Corporate Compliance
- Implement Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Whistleblower, Code of Conduct, Anti-Harassment, Data Privacy, and Supplier Code of Conduct policies.
- Support customer compliance audits covering governance and ethics.
- Monitor compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
8. Information Security & Customer Requirements
- Coordinate customer information security questionnaires.
- Support ISO 27001 compliance where applicable.
- Work with IT teams on cybersecurity-related customer requirements.
- Maintain documentation for customer security assessments.
9. Audit Management
- Lead ISO, customer, supplier, ESG, safety, and internal compliance audits.
- Prepare audit reports and drive corrective action closure.
- Maintain audit dashboards for management.
10. Training & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct compliance awareness training across the organization.
- Develop a company-wide compliance culture.
- Keep departments updated on regulatory changes.
- Recommend improvements to reduce compliance risks.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Good understanding of OSHA and industrial safety.
- Working knowledge of ESG reporting and sustainability.
- Experience handling multinational customer compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and Conflict Minerals requirements.
- Familiarity with supplier qualification and vendor audits.
- Experience managing customer compliance portals and documentation.
- Strong understanding of CAPA and root cause analysis.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong project coordination and cross-functional leadership abilities.
