Finance Manager

The individual will partner with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, manage budgets and forecasts, support decision-making, and help ensure financial discipline across operational activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-range planning activities for Operations Finance.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and business performance commentary.
- Partner with Operations stakeholders to understand cost drivers, risks, opportunities, and business priorities.
- Manage expense analysis, cost center reporting, headcount tracking, capital planning, and operational finance support.
- Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, journal entry review, and financial validation.
- Prepare management presentations, business review materials, financial summaries, and ad hoc analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and corporate finance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support operational decision-making and performance management.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting consistency, forecast accuracy, and overall efficiency.
- Use tools such as SAP, S/4HANA, ChatGPT, Codex, Hyperion, Anaplan, Excel, Smartsheet, and Tableau to support reporting and analysis.
- Communicate financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to finance leaders and business partners.
