The Role
Join our founding team to build North India's manufacturing network—the region dominating home textiles and workwear exports. You'll architect our network across Punjab, Haryana, UP, and Rajasthan with equity ownership and direct influence on national expansion. Unlock capacity in Ludhiana's knitwear, Panipat's home textiles, and Delhi NCR's garment manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own manufacturer discovery, verification, and relationship management across Punjab (Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar), Haryana (Panipat, Gurgaon), UP (Noida, Meerut), and Rajasthan (Jaipur, Bhilwara)
- Build network in hosiery, home textiles (bedsheets, towels, furnishings), workwear, and technical textiles with dyeing units, printing facilities, and yarn suppliers
- Create standardized factory audit frameworks for capacity, quality systems, and compliance certifications (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, WRAP, ZDHC)
- Match North Indian capabilities with international buyer demand from Europe, North America, and Middle East
- Monitor end-to-end production from yarn procurement through finishing and shipment; coordinate testing labs, compliance auditors, and logistics
- Provide market intelligence on input costs, capacity utilization, and emerging capabilities to shape regional growth strategy
- 5–8 years in textile sourcing, merchandising, or production planning with export house or buying office experience; track record onboarding 15+ facilities
- Deep knowledge of home textile, knitwear, or workwear manufacturing (spinning, weaving/knitting, processing, finishing)
- Established relationships with manufacturers, processors, and suppliers across North India's textile clusters
- Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable building systems from scratch, thriving in ambiguity, and taking ownership beyond defined roles
- Strong factory audit, compliance standards (SEDEX, BSCI, Higg Index), negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Bachelor's/diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Management, or related field
- Fluency in Hindi/Punjabi and English; comfortable with Excel, Google Sheets, and supplier management platforms
- Founding team equity with stock options aligned to company growth
- Direct strategic influence on product roadmap, expansion strategy, and business model
- Build infrastructure unlocking global market access for 10,000+ North Indian textile MSMEs
- Clear growth path from regional lead to national operations leadership (Year 2-5 scaling)
