Job Title: Product Process Quality Assistant Manager (Notebook)
Job location: Pondicherry
Experience Required: 5 Years to 10 Years
Position Requirements
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or) higher in electrical electronics
Additional Qualifications/Certifications: Internal Auditor QMS EMS, PFMEA, 6Sigma, SPC PPAP
Work Experience
5+Years of experience in the field of Process / Product Quality.
Functional / Technical Competencies 1. Chip level Knowledge on computers with basic Electronics component functions.
- Experienced in Problem solving Tools Techniques like [TQM, (QFD Quality Tools), Lean 6Sigma, DOE, 8D, QC Story, A3, etc.,]
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Planning and project management skills.
- Trouble shooting skills in Electronics/Computer
- Basic knowledge on APQP, PPAP (PFD, FMEA, MSA, FMA).
- You will be responsible for assuring that the manufacturing process output quality level continues to have year over year positive impact Out of Box DPPM metrics.
- Support the process quality engineers in meeting business goals and maintaining the process documentation standards required by the quality systems.
- Conduct Process Certification, Product and Process Qualification Audits.
- Support the daily plant manufacturing team for defect resolution, test-related failures and the management of non-conforming Process.
- Your role is an integral team member of the Process Product Quality team.
- Investigate and resolve reported Process/Part-related manufacturing issues working closely with Production, Supplier Quality, Engineering counterparts.
- Lead CFT team for identified continuous improvement projects to improve product [FPY] first pass yield, assembly Debug, and customer complaints.
- Oversee defect resolution process with the quality engineers and mentor activity as part of Kaizen / YYB project.
- Address field complaints working with the Field Quality engineering.
- Responsible for monthly reporting and presenting to Top Management / HOD team.
- Be involved in the support of root cause and corrective action activity through 8D methodology.
- Carry out PPAP (like PFMEA, PFD, etc.,) for new product line modification.
- Ensure proper Quality Environmental management system @ workplace.
- Lead and mentor quality engineering team, including KPI reviews.
