We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer / Sales Executive for the Municipal Sector specializing in Water Chemistry, WTP (Water Treatment Plant) & STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for business development, tender participation, and project sales within municipal corporations, government bodies, and related institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in Municipal Corporations,
  • Government Departments, and Water Authorities.
  • Promote and sell WTP, STP & Water treatment solutions.
  • Knowledge of tender documentation, bidding process
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and municipal officials.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Provide after-sales support and coordinate with service teams.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends.

Skills/Experience

Education:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
  • MBA in Sales /Marketing

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial sales (Water Treatment preferred).
  • Experience in water treatment sales for Municipal Sector.
  • Familiarity with government procurement systems.
  • Existing network in municipal or water department sector will be an added advantage.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Good knowledge of Water Chemistry, WTP, STP processes.
  • Understanding of municipal tender procedures.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & email communication.
