TEAL-Design Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

• Drive business growth by identifying and developing opportunities across equipment manufacturing and automated production lines for advanced chemistry cells, battery packs, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers to understand manufacturing processes, automation requirements, and equipment needs for advanced chemistry cells, battery packs, and BESS production
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design customized solutions and prepare RFQs/BOMs
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through proactive market outreach and client engagement
• Monitor industry trends in Advanced Chemistry Cells, lithium-ion batteries, BESS, and industrial automation to identify new market opportunities
• Lead end-to-end proposal management, from requirement gathering to submission and negotiation
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including OEMs, EPCs, and system integrators
• Provide technical expertise and support in the design and development of electrical systems for advanced chemistry cells, battery packs, and BESS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with overall product development

2–4 years of background in business development, technical sales, or applications engineering, with a strong understanding and experience in lithium-ion battery/cell manufacturing, battery pack or BESS systems, as well as industrial automation and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in these areas and be able to demonstrate their expertise in driving business growth and technical sales within the specified industries.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, or related fields is required. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in these fields would be a plus. Candidates with a strong academic background and practical experience in these areas will be highly preferred.
