Job Summary
The Hardware Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for the organization's IT hardware infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and network issues, installing and configuring computer systems, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of end-user devices and peripherals. Key Responsibilities Hardware Support & Maintenance Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, Audio/Video, and other IT equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and health checks of IT equipment. User Support Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees. Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, and peripheral-related issues. Ensure minimal downtime and prompt resolution of support tickets. Network & Peripheral Support Troubleshooting LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues. Support network devices such as switches, routers, and access points. Configure and maintain printers and shared devices. Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. Required Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in hardware and desktop support (Freshers with strong technical skills may also apply). Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
