Technical Support Engineer (IT)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365 and core IT systems.
  • Configure and deploy high-performance hardware for engineering teams.
  • Manage network connectivity, VPNs, and Active Directory access.
  • Resolve user tickets efficiently to minimise technical downtime.
  • Maintain IT-related records (assets, inventory, user access, and software licences).
  • Coordinate IT requests and escalate issues to the technical team.
  • Assist in basic troubleshooting (password resets, email setup, hardware checks).
  • Track IT support tickets and ensure timely follow-ups.

Requirements

  • English communication skills are compulsory.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in an IT technical support/helpdesk role.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT support or helpdesk experience in the tech sector.
  • Degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent certifications.
  • Deep knowledge of OS deployment, hardware, and remote support tools.
