Position Title: Deputy General Manager - Incoming Quality
Work Location: Vadodara
Experience: 12-15 yrs
Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)
- Overall responsible for leading the team for inspection and decision making of raw materials, components, and sub assys, including outsource Inspection.
- Develop and Maintain Quality Plans and ensure inspection records, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Lead root cause analysis of nonconformities / defects or failures and ensuring Implementation Corrective Actions to avoid recurrence.
- Coordination with functions like Design, Engineering, Purchase and Suppliers for various developments, activities.
- Supplier Quality System / Process Audit and improvement.
- Developing gauges for error free inspection and Train quality engineers / inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.
- Incoming Quality function experience preferably in electrical / Automobile manufacturing
- Hands on Experience of SAP QM, Minitab, SPC tools, 8D, DOE, MSA. Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of xFMEAs, PPAP, APQP, GD&T, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO45001
