Salesforce Business Analyst

As a Salesforce Business Analyst at RevX, you will be the bridge between our clients' business needs and their Salesforce platform. You will gather and document requirements, design scalable solutions, and work alongside developers or admins to ensure implementation excellence. This is not a pure admin role — we need someone who combines sharp business analysis skills with strong Salesforce platform knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Engage with client stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize Salesforce-related business requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, and flows
- Analyze existing Salesforce implementations and recommend improvements to architecture, data models, and processes
- Support Sales Cloud and/or Revenue Cloud implementations — including lead management, opportunity pipelines, forecasting, and territory management
- Conduct gap analyses and prepare solution design documentation for client engagements
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers (where applicable) to deliver complex customizations
- Manage data migration and data quality initiatives within Salesforce
- Create user training materials and deliver training sessions for client teams
Must-Have
- 3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud — required; Revenue Cloud or CPQ experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration: flows, validation rules, custom objects, and process automation
- Proven ability to gather requirements, write user stories, and create process flow diagrams
- Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable working with C-level and operational stakeholders
- Experience in an agency or consultancy environment managing multiple client accounts
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification (ADM 201, Salesforce Certified BA)
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Service Cloud
- Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with HubSpot, Clay, or Apollo
- Exposure to ABM workflows, lead scoring, and B2B funnel reporting within Salesforce
