Broad outline of the Role

  • The role is part of the finance centre of excellence and will support in any one or more areas of finance including financial planning and analysis, reporting and compliance, taxation, and treasury. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the assigned account and business.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • CA inter/ICWA/MBA/Other equivalent qualification
  • 2-7 years†experience in Finance

Other Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel.
  • SAP exposure required.
  • Familiarity with finance and statistical analysis software
  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Understanding across finance domains (taxation, treasury etc)

Key Responsibilities

  • AP Audit & Controls
  • Perform detailed reviews of AP transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Support internal and statutory audits by providing data, reconciliations, and explanations
  • Ensure strong documentation and audit readiness of AP processes
  • Vendor Reconciliation Review
  • Review periodic vendor reconciliations and validate accuracy
  • Investigate discrepancies, aged balances, and unreconciled items
  • Drive timely closure of key reconciliation issues in coordination with stakeholders
  • Support vendor balance confirmations and clean-up activities
  • Reporting & P&L Impact Analysis
  • Review AP-related expense booking, accruals, and provisions
  • Analyze trends, variances, and unusual movements in AP-related costs
  • Support monthly reporting with insights on expenses and cost drivers
  • Month-End Close Support
  • Review accruals, provisions, and GRIR balances impacting financial statements
  • Validate reconciliation of AP sub-ledger with general ledger
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of AP-related closing entries
  • Assist in meeting month-end and year-end closing timelines
  • Analytics & Insights
  • Prepare MIS reports and dashboards on AP metrics (aging, variance, reconciliation status)
