We are expanding rapidly across the US market and are looking for a driven Team Lead to build and lead a high-performing sales team.
Role Overview
The Team Lead – Sales (US) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leading a team of Business Development Executives/Associates who sell BrightCHAMPS' courses to parents in the US market. This is a target-driven, individual-contributor-plus-leadership role that requires hands-on coaching, pipeline management, and performance ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8–15 Sales/BD Executives focused on the US market
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team; own team-level revenue numbers
- Conduct call audits, provide real-time feedback, and coach reps to improve conversion rates
- Monitor pipeline health, lead-to-conversion ratios, and follow-up discipline using CRM tools
- Conduct daily huddles, role-plays, and training sessions on pitch, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Analyze performance data (calls made, connect rate, demo-to-close ratio) and identify improvement areas
- Partner with Marketing/Lead Gen teams to ensure lead quality and volume align with targets
- Handle escalations and support reps on high-value or difficult prospect conversations
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members
- Ensure adherence to sales processes, compliance, and reporting standards
- Report team performance and market insights to senior sales leadership
Requirements
- 3–6 years of total sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead/team management role
- Prior experience selling to the US market (voice process) is mandatory
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or B2C inside sales preferred
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, both individually and as a team leader
- Strong communication skills with a neutral/US-friendly accent
- Comfortable working in US shift timings
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., LeadSquared, Salesforce, Zoho)
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with sales dashboards and MIS reports
- Excellent people management, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-oriented mindset
- Willing to work in the Night Shift
