Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our SMT Automation Equipment Software Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining PC-based control software for SMT and semiconductor automation equipment. This role requires strong expertise in C# WinForms development, equipment control, SECS/GEM, and MES integration within industrial automation environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PC control software for SMT and semiconductor automation equipment.
- Develop Windows-based applications using C# and WinForms.
- Implement machine control logic for automated manufacturing systems.
- Integrate equipment with factory systems using SECS/GEM and MES protocols.
- Troubleshoot software, communication, and equipment-related issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
- Perform software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Support installation, commissioning, and production deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and user manuals.
- Provide post-deployment support and customer issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality guidelines, and project timelines.
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience in C# and WinForms application development.
- Experience in industrial automation or equipment control software development.
- Knowledge of SMT equipment, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing automation systems.
- Practical experience with SECS/GEM and MES integration.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
