Job Purpose

You will join and immediately contribute to the team that supports one of Quorum’s market leading enterprise applications.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead activities spanning the full lifecycle of software development:
    • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of Quorum’s software and/or technology stack
    • Work with stakeholders across the organization to define and document complex requirements spanning product features, architectural patterns, deployment methodologies, and more
    • Lead a team of engineers to design and develop solutions in code with a high degree of quality and completeness
    • Define, create, and execute manual or automated test cases
    • Troubleshoot complex problems across systems, resolve defects, and perform root cause analysis
    • Have a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and other deployment tools
    • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish team goals, with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development methodologies and how they apply to your team
  • Actively drive innovation by recommending improvements and evangelizing new concepts, practices, tools, or processes that can increase quality and efficiency
  • Be deeply involved in the development of Quorum personnel, including mentorship, training, and directing and being accountable for the work of others
  • And other duties as assigned.

What to Bring:

  • 8 – 10 years of application development with design, development, implementation, and support experience, including the following:
    • C#
    • C++
    • JavaScript
    • HTML
    • SQL
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Git
  • A deep understanding of CI/CD and automation, preferably with Azure DevOps
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and .Net framework
  • Experience in creating reusable libraries and scalable architectures in C# and/or C++
  • Ability to solve a broad array of technical challenges across multiple platforms
  • Experience working under various software development methodologies and the ability to select and apply best practices as appropriate for each assignment
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and ownership for large and complex deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher-level education equivalent

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Agile, Azure DevOps, DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development
  • Enterprise software experience
