Description:
The role is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and maintaining civil and structural infrastructure across pharmaceutical facilities. The role ensures compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, cost, and timeline requirements in all construction and modification activities. It interprets drawings, specifications, and engineering standards to deliver compliant facilities. The role manages new construction, expansions, retrofitting, and maintenance projects, while ensuring utility integration and operational readiness. The role drives safety engineering, sustainability, and continuous improvement, and partners with cross-functional teams to support validated, reliable, and audit-ready pharmaceutical operations.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and execute civil construction and modification projects
- To have a deep understanding of construction site management with disciplines and a proven track record of successful project completion in time.
- Supervise construction activities and provide technical advice to ensure high standards of construction and safety are maintained.
- Should have deep level of -Reading Civil Drawings, Steel calculation, BOQ verification. Bills verification.
- Should have practical experience on RCC & PEB civil industrial structure work.
- Lead the review and approval of civil and structural design documents prepared by the consultant & contractor, ensuring compliance with Amneal codes, safety, constructability, and long-term operability.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports and documentation to stakeholders. Use engineering software and tools to create blueprints and models, and analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively and ensure that all civil engineering projects adhere to legal guidelines and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Manage facility design, construction, and expansion activities
- Ensure structural integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee contractors, vendors, and material procurement
- Coordinate utilities, drainage, and infrastructure systems
- Support maintenance planning and execution for civil assets
- Implement safety engineering and risk assessment controls
- Drive sustainability and energy-efficient practices
- Ensure documentation, validation support, and audit readiness
Education: B.E. / B.Tech - Civil Engineering
Experience: 12 years or more in 12 - 15 Years
