Purpose of the Role -
- Systematically adopt Learning methodology to gain "Knowledge Level"for their respective Discipline while "Awareness Level" for other disciplines.
- To Perform jobs under the guidance & supervision of assigned Mentor.
- To Shadow entry level roles for their respective Discipline and acquire competency to take independent Charge.
Responsibilities -
- HSE Know-How and Compliance -
- Learn about OMS and its Requirement.
- Understand and Follow Safety Rules and Guidelines at all the time
- Learn Safety procedures viz PTW (Permit to Work), TBRA (Task Based Risk Assessment), PHA (Process hazard Analysis), TBT (Tool Box Talk), RCA (Root Cause Analysis) etc required to perform Job independently.
- Technical Know How -
- Learn to read P&ID,PFD, Isometrics, GA and other engineering Drawings.
- Read and Understand respective allocated plant/discipline SOP's, SMP's, BMP's, Operating Manual, Emergency Procedures etc.
- Develop Understanding of DCS,PIB,Instrumentation, Power Distribution System, SLD etc
- Build technical competence to take independent charge for entry level roles.
- Systemic Know How -
- Develop skills to use IT Systems viz SAP, MOC, IM, RCoW, OMPRO etc required to deliver jobs for there respective roles.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of company Systems & processes that drive effective functioning.
- Proactively seek learning opportunities to develop skills for various roles within the Hydrocarbons sector.
- Managerial Skills -
- Develop project planning and management skills for efficient operation and maintenance activities.
- Learn to supervise and monitor the work of contractors, allocate resources based on job scope, and track progress.
- Learn to Collaborate with cross Disciplines and external stakeholders. Understand Integration points for smooth execution of Jobs.
- Business Awareness and Ethics -
- Cultivate an awareness of refining and petrochemical processes, equipment, and industry trends.
- Understand concepts related to Sales and Product Management for Polymer, Rubber, and Textile businesses.

- Follow RIL ethics policy at all time
- Necessary: Bachelor's Degree in the respective Engineering discipline
- Necessary: 0 - 2 Years of experience with at least 60% in the graduation

B. Function-specific Competencies (Technical /Functional)
- Complete all mandatory training modules to build a strong foundation for taking up entry level role for respective Discipline within the specified timeframe.

- Successfully completed CAS for assigned Role and is ready to take charge independently.
- Shown capability to manage resources and collaboration with cross discipline.
- Developed required understanding of related IT systems.
