Apple’s Sales organisation generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This, in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

In this position, you will partner internally and externally to formulate, present, and implement strategies and initiatives to grow the business with our top consumer retail partners. You will leverage your deep understanding of the industry to respond to new market challenges, address risks, maximise opportunities, and create momentum that impacts individual accounts and builds upon Apple’s growth within the reseller channel. Through your deep relationship building skills and passion for solution-based selling, you will collaborate with our partners to define opportunities and develop growth plans, resulting in industry-leading customer experiences and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.

Description
In this role, you will:

  • Grow Apple’s business with partners who resell Apple products in the consumer retail channel, driving towards a sales target
  • Build deep relationships, negotiate programmes, and develop innovative initiatives to achieve an extraordinary omni-channel customer experience, resulting in sales growth for Apple and our partners
  • Maintain deep functional expertise in the consumer retail channel, monitoring market landscape and changes in dynamics that create new opportunities and challenges
  • Analyse trends and partner capabilities, identify opportunities, and develop comprehensive account plans that both align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple's footprint.
  • Craft and articulate data-driven narratives to justify proposed deals to senior leadership, internally and externally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute growth strategies, drive relevant market activities, and ultimately ensure sales through our partners.
  • Negotiate with channel partners to secure deals that deliver desired market and financial results.
  • Oversee key performance indicators that support growth and enable forecasts on the overall health of our account plans.
  • Manage execution and gather resources to drive projects, achieve goals, and cover day-to-day tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in business planning, retail strategy, business development, strategic project management, and/or similar function developing channel growth strategies with partners.
  • In-depth understanding of retail store, merchandising, inventory management, and sales operations.
  • Experience attaining revenue targets and driving business growth through a consultative sales approach.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Strategic thought leadership to inspire and influence across various levels and functions.
  • Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to drive what matters.
  • High level of integrity, trust, and accountability to do what’s right.
  • Familiarity with the consumer and channel reseller market is highly preferred.
  • Passion for Apple technology with the curiosity to uncover new leads, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive for results.
  • Ability to analyse trends, develop insights, and identify opportunities to create solutions and accelerate business growth.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate partner organisational structures, and lead complex negotiations.
