What you will do
The Global Supplier Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting supplier quality operations across multiple categories by maintaining quality systems, coordinating change control activities, supporting audits, and driving corrective and preventive actions. This role acts as a generalist within the Supplier Quality organization, partnering cross-functionally to ensure compliance, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement across the supply base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional initiatives to elevate global supplier quality standards through innovative audit methodologies, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement activities to enhance supplier performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with Global Supplier Quality Category Leads (API/Direct Material, Packaging, External Manufacturing, and Warehouse/Transportation) supporting projects to provide sustainable quality solutions that enhance product reliability, reduce time-to-market, and integrate supplier feedback loops and predictive quality metrics into the supply chain ecosystem.
- Coordinate and support Global Raw Material change control documentation and approval processes to ensure compliance, traceability, and inspection readiness for internal and external audits and inspections.
- Support Global Supplier Quality Category Leads and Global SQM by leveraging digital quality management tools to monitor supplier and contract manufacturer performance, drive data analysis and trend identification, triage / scope nonconformance events, streamline corrective actions, and ensure accurate, compliant reporting and documentation of nonconformance metrics, project outcomes, and stakeholder feedback.
- Provide quality support and assess current quality systems to recommend enhancements that improve product quality and reduce cycle times.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of standard operating procedures for interactions with suppliers and contract manufacturers and support special quality projects as needed.
- Guide supplier quality teams worldwide, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in quality assurance practices.
- Oversight and management of Global RSPO audit program for central office and internal manufacturing sites, including documentation within the Curve platform.
- Participate in special quality projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
- Provide quality support for supplier audit scheduling and execution, including contributing to the continuous improvement of current SOPs and ways of working by identifying and implementing enhancement opportunities.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar quality assurance role.
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), process criteria, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing supplier quality systems and performance monitoring.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable quality improvement plans.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct audits (internal and external), including preparation, investigations, and data analysis to drive quality improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing standard operating procedures and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed quality reports and documentation.

- Proven expertise in leveraging advanced quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and statistical process control to drive supplier excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex supplier quality projects that integrate cutting-edge technologies and cross-border collaboration.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a flair for transforming data into actionable quality strategies.
- Experience with digital quality management systems and data analytics with a passion for continuous learning in emerging quality innovations (E.g. systems and programs such as Veeva Quality, EtQ NXG, PowerBI, Microsoft software, etc).
- Ability to assess and improve quality systems to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build partnerships with diverse global suppliers and internal stakeholders.
