- Track, analyze and report on Supply Chain organization compliance related activities.
- Perform accurate and thorough investigations of Supply Chain noncompliance incidents. Follow through to close compliance remedial work plans and improvement initiatives.
- Identify dual-use products and ensure that they are properly classified for export under local and multilateral regulations.
- Ensure that products under development are properly classified, in a timely manner, as part of the Product Lifecycle Management Process.
- Implement import and export compliance standards, guidelines and procedures.
- Provide employees with trade compliance guidance and support, as well as training and workshops, to ensure that minimum certification requirements are met.
- Monitor changes to local trade control laws and regulations to ensure that proper measures are implemented, as required. Advise management on changes that might affect trade compliance.
- Ensure that proper escalation procedures are in place to report problems and potential trade control compliance violations to the Trade Compliance Area Manager.
- Ensure that adequate internal reviews are conducted to maintain the desired level of trade control compliance.
- Deploy and monitor the Schlumberger Trade Control Compliance Global Self-Assessment Program.
- Facilitate and participate in site reviews and audits, and recommend remedial actions.
- Review and respond to Trade Control Compliance QUEST reports.
- Help develop guidelines, procedures and best practices to ensure that third-party outsourcing and technology transfers are in compliance with applicable trade control laws and regulations.
- Implement the Schlumberger Compliance program and monitor the effectiveness related to all activities within the Supply Chain department.
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce wasted time, money and resources.
- Comply with Schlumberger and local procedures applicable to the job function.
