- Developing and delivering the strategy map for the education vertical
- Define strategic vision, initiatives and long term goals for Reliance Foundation#s new Education initiatives, in accordance with overall strategic objectives of the Reliance Foundation
- Developing, coordinating and oversee innovative, specialized programmes to improve educational outcomes, especially related to Early Childhood Education and digital education for Primary and Secondary, and Further Education
- Develop strategy for enhancing the impact and scale of current education programmes and initiatives
- Developing and delivering the Education and Skills strategy including the qualification framework and education strategy
- Quality-managing the development and delivery of education and skills lessons and programmes to the laid-down procedures
- Translate programme strategy into clear and results-oriented operational plans, including implementation approach and processes, resource mobilization requirements, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, milestones and deliverables, timelines, budget, etc.
- Leveraging the strengths of the RIL ecosystem to deliver education programmes
- Developing a robust M&E framework for the education programmes
- Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies, and national and international development agencies, and provide leadership and guidance for multiple partnership projects (with state, national and international funding agencies)
- Formalising the partnership arrangements for all those involved in local delivery, ensuring that stakeholder interests are protected while the potential impact of the programme is maximised
- Establishing and extending relationships with members of local partnerships and boards, particularly around education and skills
- Contributing to the sharing of best practice, attendance at regional and national networking forums and representing programmes at local and national events
- Liasoning with other agencies and working collaboratively with a range of agencies to have the most impact
- Keeping up to date with relevant educational and skills training and changes in government policies and strategies including
- Necessary: Post Graduate Degree in Management/ Development administration or PhD in Education
- Desired: Qualification in Education or related fields
- Necessary: Experience of 15+ years leading programmes for development/social impact organisations, or in the education sector, or in strategy consulting or entrepreneurial roles
- Desired: Experience using technology-based strategies / platforms
