Job Description

The Specialist – Content Publishing (dotCMS) is responsible for delivering high-quality web content across Lennox’s digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimal user experience.This role combines strong execution with informed judgment—requiring a clear understanding of content structures, CMS behavior, and front-end fundamentals. The individual will work closely with US stakeholders to interpret requirements, anticipate impact, and contribute meaningful input that improves content effectiveness and publishing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Content Publishing & CMS Operations

  • Own end-to-end content publishing in CMS platforms (dotCMS experience is a plus).
  • Translate requirements into accurate, well-structured web content.
  • Maintain and update pages, ensuring consistency with brand and platform standards.

Content Structure & Page Assembly

  • Work with structured content models, including content types, relationships, and reusable components.
  • Assemble pages using templates, ensuring scalable, consistent, and efficient builds.
  • Apply judgment to optimize content reuse and layout effectiveness.

Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance

  • Resolve layout breaks, missing assets, and rendering issues.
  • Validate content across devices, browsers, and environments.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to templates or workflows.

Front-End Support

  • Use HTML5 and CSS3 to edit, structure, and troubleshoot content layouts.
  • Apply Bootstrap (preferred) for responsive page construction and alignment.
  • Ensure visual consistency and usability across pages.
  • Partner with technical development team for level 2 issue resolution.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with US stakeholders to understand requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Ask clarifying questions, surface gaps, and ensure execution accuracy.
  • Contribute practical suggestions to improve content structure, usability, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate awareness of how changes impact user experience and performance.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Follow content governance, accessibility, and SEO guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to templates, workflows, and publishing standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of CMS processes and practices.

Qualifications

Desired Profile

Experience

8+ years in web content publishing or CMS operations in enterprise environments.

CMS & Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with CMS platforms (dotCMS preferred; AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, Contentful acceptable).
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and Bootstrap (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of structured content models and page composition.

Content & Platform Understanding

  • Clear grasp of how content structure impacts rendering, reuse, and scalability.
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of content changes on user experience.
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and accessibility standards.

Collaboration & Ownership

  • Strong stakeholder communication and requirement interpretation skills.
  • Confident in asking the right questions and offering informed input.
  • High attention to detail with strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
