Deputy General Manager - Thermal Sales (Cement, Central India)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for thermal products/services in the cement sector across Central India.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key cement industry clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive developments.
  • Drive order booking, revenue growth, and profitability in line with organizational targets.
  • Coordinate with technical, project, and service teams to ensure timely solution delivery.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and customer engagement activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence updates for management review.
  • Support pricing strategies, tender participation, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in thermal sales/business development, preferably within the cement industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial heating, combustion, waste heat recovery, or related thermal solutions.
  • Proven track record in handling large accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Central India.
