Overview

This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization, contributing to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by supporting the sales customer team. The TPM Analyst will work with members of a National & Division customer team to achieve sales growth and profit objectives (Volume, Net Revenue, Profit – both for PepsiCo and the Customer). This will be achieved through building effective relationships with the customer team, maintaining planning models in the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system, and working closely with internal GCC TPM teams. In addition, the role will support the commercial finance team through robust reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and the implementation of process improvements and automation, while completing regular CDA and trade spend reconciliation reviews.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient, effective and comprehensive support for PBNA sales team for Trade Planning management
  • Establish and Nurture relationships with stakeholders to facilitate business value for PBNA
  • Quick Thinking to provide creative solutions that address stakeholders’ needs and concerns and should have commercial function awareness
  • Assisting in delivery of planned net revenue, trade spend and MC objectives, in a manner that is consistent with the strategic direction for the business
  • Becoming aware of business trends, economic conditions, customer developments, competitive activities, historical category learnings etc. to make forecast recommendations and highlight potential issues within the current Customer build
  • Having the responsibility for ensuring the forecast is accurate and reflects the latest thinking on in-market execution and underlying performance trends
  • Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with customer teams
  • Ability to focus against speed of execution and quality of service delivery rather than achievement of SLAs
  • Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work and drive Business Outcomes
  • Leverage strong data analytics expertise, including exposure to datasets like Kantar, Nielsen, or other POS data, to execute ad-hoc analysis such as Trade Promotion effectiveness, POS data analysis, and competitive analysis
  • Create and maintain dashboards to ensure KPI visibility and drive process automation to streamline reporting and enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • 6-7 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, or Revenue Management.
  • Prior Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company experience required, specifically within a data analytics or business intelligence function.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an MBA in Business Analytics
  • Ability to understand and translate delivery performance, identify opportunities & risks, and develop and implement detailed accurate forecasts.
  • Strong understanding of Promotion Effectiveness, Promotion Mix, and category diagnostics.
  • Expertise in using Kantar, Nielsen, or similar POS datasets to derive meaningful insights.

  • Expertise in Python for data analysis and SQL for data extraction/manipulation.
  • Advanced proficiency in building dashboards for KPI visibility using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
  • Time Management/Organization: Solid capability to manage and prioritize schedule
  • Support Systems Literacy: Computer literacy, Excel, Power Point, Word, ERT, Business Objects & SAP/ERP, willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support PepsiCo software systems

  • Independent & motivated individual; ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback
