Roles & Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Drive Mid Corporate business growth aligned with regional and zonal objectives across Assets, Liabilities, and Revenue.
- Identify business opportunities within key markets and industry segments to expand the portfolio.
- Drive growth in Advances, Current Accounts, and Deposits while improving portfolio profitability.
- Ensure a balanced focus on New-to-Bank (NTB) acquisition and Existing-to-Bank (ETB) relationship deepening.
- Increase product penetration and cross-sell opportunities across the customer base.
- Build strong client relationships to enhance wallet share and strengthen market presence.
- Drive sustainable business growth while maintaining portfolio quality and governance standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and other banking guidelines.
- Drive process efficiency and timely turnaround of customer onboarding and credit proposals.
- Ensure accuracy in reporting, documentation, and data management.
- Maintain strong governance and timely closure of audit and compliance observations.
- Monitor policy exceptions and ensure adherence to approved processes.
- Own delivery of business targets across Assets, Liabilities, Income, and Fee Income.
- Drive growth in Advances, Current Accounts, and Deposits.
- Enhance wallet share across existing Mid Corporate relationships.
- Increase product penetration through Trade, FX, and other banking solutions.
- Drive fee income, trade income, and FX income growth.
- Acquire new-to-bank customers and deepen existing relationships.
- Monitor team productivity and portfolio performance.
- Maintain a healthy business pipeline and ensure timely conversion of opportunities.
- Monitor and drive achievement of cluster-level business targets across Assets, Liabilities, CASA, Fee Income, Trade, and Treasury products.
- Review portfolio growth, profitability, productivity, and customer acquisition metrics across Relationship Managers within the cluster
- Conduct periodic business reviews with Regional Leaders and Relationship Managers to assess performance against targets and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze portfolio trends and provide actionable insights to enhance business performance and customer penetration.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers, promoters, business owners, and strategic accounts across the cluster.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement measures to enhance customer experience and service quality
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical customer issues and ensure timely resolution through coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Support Relationship Managers in handling complex client relationships, negotiations, and business opportunities.
- Build relationships with:
- Key clients and promoters
- Industry bodies, trade associations, consultants
- Drive ecosystem-led sourcing (CA networks, vendor-dealer chains, etc.)
- Enhance customer engagement and retention through structured coverage model
- Maintain portfolio quality within defined risk appetite
- Proactively track and act on:
- Early Warning Signals (EWS)
- Slippages and NPA movement
- Security erosion / inadequate collateral cases
- Drive collateral hygiene (valuation, CERSAI, documentation)
- Minimize additional provisioning impact through timely corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to:
- Regulatory and compliance standards
- KYC / AML / trade compliance norms
- Drive process efficiency and turnaround time (TAT) across onboarding & servicing
- Strengthen data discipline, reporting accuracy, and governance frameworks
