The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographic area, driving brand awareness, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and channel partners.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned products within the designated territory.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Promote and detail Piramal Pharma Limited's product portfolio to healthcare professionals, effectively communicating product benefits and features.
  • Manage and monitor product distribution channels, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely delivery.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams for product development and strategy refinement.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense statements in a timely manner.
  • Organize and participate in medical camps, conferences, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and competitor landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
