Software Test Engineer (Automation)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Test Engineerwith experience in web and mobile application testing and test automation. Thecandidate should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining automatedtest solutions for modern web and mobile applications, including UI, API,database, and configuration-driven testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts forweb and mobile applications.

• Perform functional, non-functional, regression,smoke, and end-to-end testing.

• Validate UI, APIs, database, and business logic.

• Automate testing of dynamic andconfiguration-driven forms.

• Validate application behavior based on backendconfiguration (e.g., JSON/metadata).

• Create reusable and maintainable automationframeworks.

• Execute test cases, analyze failures, and reportdefects.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts,and product owners.

• Participate in Agile development and releaseactivities.

• Support automation execution in CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• Experience in web and mobile applicationautomation testing.

• Good understanding of software testing conceptsand SDLC/STLC.

• Knowledge of automation frameworks andscripting/programming fundamentals.

• Experience with API testing and databasevalidation.

• Understanding of JSON, dynamic web elements, andconfiguration-driven applications.

• SQL knowledge.

• Familiarity with version control and CI/CDtools.

• Good analytical, debugging, and communicationskills.
