Job Purpose
1.This position will be responsible for Metallic –Sheet metal & fabrication and will be based at Pithampur Plant.
2. This position will be responsible for driving all new part development & current product improvement activities for CNH Pithampur plant parts under Sheet Metal & Fabrication _Metallic.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Sheet Metal & Fabrication for development of parts in India for CE segment.
- New Product development - To perform various activities of Design Reviews, Technical feasibility with suppliers, Supplier Interactions, Development Plans, Technical support to meet project timelines.
- Current Product Management - To support regional Plant quality team in resolving current product issues and improvement.
- Planning and undertaking Supplier Improvement plans through Reactive/ Preventive and Proactive approach.
- To interact with peers of various functions like Purchasing, PD, Plant Quality, PDP.
- Has to interact on activities like NPD bottlenecks, technical evaluation of suppliers, PIR resolution, Current product improvement, support to supply chain bottlenecks etc.
Diploma / Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Preferred Qualifications
10~15 years of experience in OEM or Auto ancillary in Supplier Quality function.
Experience in development of parts like Loader Arm, Boom Dipper, ROPS FOPS Cabs, H Frame, Chassis Frame, Loader Buckets, Shovel Buckets.
