Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth of Particle Board products within the assigned territory. The role involves developing dealer networks, managing distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence among dealers, carpenters, contractors, and furniture manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for Particle Board products.
- Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network in the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities with furniture manufacturers, contractors, and interior designers.
- Ensure effective market coverage and increase market share.
- Channel Management
- Manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure product availability in the market.
- Implement company schemes, promotional activities, and trade programs.
- Market Development
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new dealers and business opportunities.
- Promote Particle Board products among carpenters, architects, and interior designers.
- Organize product awareness programs and carpenter meets.
- Competition Tracking
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market strategies.
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends and customer requirements.
- Team Coordination
- Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams for smooth operations.
- Support sales executives and ensure proper market execution.
- Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance and ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Sales volume and revenue growth

- Qualification
- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
- Experience
- 5–8 years of sales experience in plywood / MDF / particle board / laminate / building materials industry.
- Strong dealer network management
