Role Overview
Gramik is hiring a Senior Agronomist to provide scientific crop advisory, develop crop nutrition and protection protocols, and support farmer advisory, sales, product, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
– Diagnose crop nutrient deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
– Recommend crop-stage-wise fertilizers, micronutrients, pesticides, fungicides, and bio-products.
– Develop crop calendars, Package of Practices (PoP), and advisory content.
– Support farmer advisory, sales, product, and tech teams.
– Evaluate agri-input products and conduct field trials.
– Train internal teams and field staff.
– Contribute to AI-driven crop advisory solutions.
Required Qualifications
– M.Sc. in Agriculture/Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Entomology/Soil Science preferred.
– 5–10 years of experience in agronomy, crop advisory, or the agri-input industry.
– Strong knowledge of crop nutrition, pest & disease management, and crop protection products.
– Excellent diagnostic, communication, and farmer training skills.
– Knowledge of major crops in Uttar Pradesh and North India is preferred.
