- ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
- Responsible for business lines of 8-10 branches, ownership of P&L – Asset & Branch Banking of Branches
- Drive Gold loan in the respective areas. The position is responsible for overall growth, Profit and Loss and success of the business in the area.
- Responsible for the control and recovery of loans in his/her area, risk assessment and recovery strategies
- Identification of suitable locations for Ujjivan gold loan business in consultation with Product Team and get the activation done of location.
- Identifying the Gold Appraisers for branches in near by location for smooth functioning of the Business Flow
- Goal setting, resource planning for branches/personnel in assigned area.
- Work closely with product and marketing team to drive suitable branding and marketing activities in his/her respective areas.
- All physical assets requirement for Gold Loan business need to in place as per defined policy.
- Smooth roll out of Gold Loan business in assigned branches with all required aspects in place.
- SIZE OF THE ROLE
NON-FINANCIAL SIZE
- Portfolio to be managed up to AUM of Rs. 10 Cr.
- Maintain relationship with channel partners like: DSA and BC
- KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Managing Gold loan and portfolio for assigned branches.
- Increasing product penetration in existing customers of the bank.
- Maximization in NTB customers through GLO leads and other partner channels
- Ensure appraiser identification and management for hassle free processing of Gold Loan.
- Monitor, improve and repair productivity benchmarks for staff, TAT and process
- Staffs must achieve decided productivity standard of Gold Loan Business in all branches.
- Achievement of business targets in terms of loan book growth with weighted IRR.
- Ensure all credit (collections) parameters are achieved as set by the management.
- Organizing brand building, CSR and marketing activities for Gold Loan promotion.
- Ensure/ crosscheck the better services as per bank standards by partner channels to Gold Loan customers.
- Ensure customers are educated about all Gold Loan schemes/services offered by Ujjivan.
- Ensure lower customer attrition by providing different Gold Loan Schemes as per customer requirement.
- Ensure maximum renewal of Gold Loan as per set benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with lending guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements.
- Speedy resolution of any audit/ vigilance observations and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence audit and other regulations.
- Ensure appraisers must adhere the appraising standard as decided by bank. And timely rotation of Appraisers must be done.
- Monitor health of portfolio in the area under Management.
- Approve deviations and exceptions according to policy in place.
- Provide market feedback to product team to revise the product offerings.
- Ensure all the TAT parameters are adhered.
- Ensure all the queries and complains raised by the customers in the assigned area are addressed in appropriate and timely manner.
- Focus on FTR (first time right) in all the services offered e.g. account opening, loan disbursement and service requests.
- Channel partners must adhere the standard service norms of bank.
- Ensure that all members of his team are up to date on all relevant circulars and all products/services offered in the Branch.
- Periodically evaluate the staff competences in various parameters set under goal setting and give feedback to concerned staff and supervisors
- Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self and reportees.
- Ensure goal-setting, mid-year review and annual appraisal process within specified timelines for self and reportees.
- Maintain critical staffing levels at all times through timely recruitment& training in conjunction with the HR team.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Qualifications
- Graduate, any professional qualification will be added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience covering secured assets & branch banking/ Micro Banking
- Rich knowledge of markets, marketing activities and products
- Process & Compliance Orientation: Knowledgeable on KYC norms/guidelines for liabilities & unsecured loans
- Team management
- Ability to speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable
- Good knowledge of commonly used software like MS Office, outlook
- Training Skills
- Interpersonal skills – ability to handle various types of mindsets and get desired output for meeting bank’s goal
- Willingness to travel & relocation as per business requirements and career opportunities
