The Auto Pour Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining automated pouring equipment used in the production of various materials. This role involves monitoring the automated pouring process, ensuring quality standards are met, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation:

Operate and control automated pouring equipment to accurately dispense materials according to production specifications.
Monitor equipment parameters and adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality and consistency.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the proper functioning of the auto pour system.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular quality checks on poured materials to verify adherence to specified standards.
Identify and address any deviations from quality requirements promptly.
Collaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance on auto pour equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as necessary.
Report major equipment issues to maintenance personnel and assist in troubleshooting efforts.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety among team members.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment settings, and quality control data.
Complete production logs and reports as required by company policies and procedures.

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant departments.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and address operational challenges.

Qualifications And Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience operating automated machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to promoting a safe work environment.
