Job Description
On-Site Mechanical Service
- Execute hands-on mechanical service, maintenance, and repair of track-mounted crushers at customer sites or service facilities.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and operational issues to identify root causes.
- Implement corrective measures promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
- Prepare detailed service and field reports, including fault analysis, repair actions, and parts utilized.
- Provide technical recommendations for customers and internal support teams.
- Conduct field inspections following company and global service standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and escalate complex technical issues to Engineering or Technical Support teams when required.
- Accurately complete and submit all service, inspection, and maintenance documentation as per company and client requirements.
- Monitor ongoing service tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delays and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Identify, requisition, and manage required spare parts to support efficient service operations.
- Ensure optimal use of inventory to reduce downtime and improve service turnaround.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment audits on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Proactively recommend maintenance actions to improve reliability and extend equipment life.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in crushing equipment technology and maintenance best practices.
- Provide feedback to improve service procedures and equipment performance.
- Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in servicing and maintaining crushing and screening equipment (preferably track-mounted crushers).
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Effective communication and technical report writing skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in challenging field environments.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in all service activities.
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Qualification: B.E/ B.tech - Mech or Electrical
