We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Faculty - Botany / Zoology to teach Classes XI & XII under an integrated CBSE + NEET programme while supporting the Foundation Programme (Classes IX & X). The ideal candidate should possess deep subject expertise, exceptional teaching skills, and a proven track record of mentoring students for NEET and other competitive examinations.
The role requires delivering concept-driven learning, fostering scientific inquiry, and ensuring excellent academic outcomes in both board examinations and competitive entrance tests.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates from premier institutions (IIT/NIT/Central Universities/IISERs) will be preferred.
Academic Delivery
- Deliver high-quality classroom instruction in Botany and/or Zoology for Classes XI & XII, integrating the CBSE curriculum with NEET preparation.
- Teach Foundation Science (Classes IX & X) with emphasis on conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning, and competitive exam readiness.
- Use interactive, competency-based, and application-oriented teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Prepare annual academic plans, lesson plans, study material, DPPs (Daily Practice Problems), worksheets, assignments, and revision modules.
- Develop competency-based assessments, question banks, and mock NEET examinations aligned with NCERT and the latest NTA examination pattern.
- Continuously update academic content in line with syllabus revisions and examination trends.
- Conduct chapter-wise tests, unit tests, mock examinations, and board-oriented assessments.
- Analyze student performance, identify conceptual gaps, and implement individualized academic improvement plans.
- Mentor students on exam strategy, revision planning, time management, and effective problem-solving techniques.
- Plan and conduct practical sessions, laboratory demonstrations, specimen-based learning, and experiential activities as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Promote scientific observation, analytical thinking, and research-oriented learning.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance curriculum delivery and academic quality.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty development programmes, academic reviews, and student counselling sessions.
- Stay updated with changes in NCERT, CBSE, and NEET examination patterns and incorporate best teaching practices.
