Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Associate-Microsoft to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in patching processes, specifically Microsoft patching, server patching, end-user patching, and desktop patching. The Technology Associate-Microsoft will also be familiar with DHCP, quality assurance, Windows patching, SCCM, and Windows update logs.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage patches for end-user systems to ensure compliance and security.
- Plan, schedule, and execute patch deployments for various server environments with minimal downtime.
- Maintain system integrity and security by following industry-standard patching methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Support change management procedures and protocols, including documentation, impact assessment, and approvals.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams during patching cycles.
- Troubleshoot Windows issues as needed.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in user computer patching.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in server patching.
- Knowledge of patching processes and best practices.
- Experience in change management.
- Team coordination skills.
- Windows issues troubleshooting.
- Experience with DHCP.
- Quality assurance background.
- Familiarity with SCCM.
- Proficiency in analyzing Windows update logs.
