Job Summary

  • Limits Monitoring Team performs monitoring of credit limit & non-limit breaches for traded credit risk products.
  • Team is involved in investigation of the Potential unauthorized excesses, by communicating/ conversing with the traders and respective TRM region.
  • Team is also involved in generation of MI relating to Excess Email approvals, Open Excess reports on weekly basis, OPICS LER updates on Quarterly basis and Vigilance report & its associated UT slides on Monthly basis, etc. for various stakeholders encompassing the Group Market & Traded credit Risk teams and Group – Risk COO office.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Support the execution of the strategic priorities of RCFCR managed services team, by contributing to risk information management, data quality, and control initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to streamline existing reporting processes, automation, and standardisation in alignment with the team’s objectives.
  • Contribute ideas and analysis to support business and risk transformation initiatives and related programmes

Business

  • Ensure business-as-usual (BAU) processes are performed with high data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to management for trend analysis, exceptions, and key observations in support of decision-making.
  • Support automation and data validation exercises to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual dependencies.
  • Monitoring and escalations of exceptions/ breaches on a timely manner and support to resolve the same as applicable.

Processes

  • Daily Limits Monitoring on FM transactions based on the utilization information received from Horizon.
  • Monitoring of credit limit and non-limit breaches is done on the business day after the trade date and potential unauthorized excesses are reported to the TRM.
  • Investigation of excesses with Sales/ Traders and liaising with TRM in closure of excesses.
  • Involvement in projects like system replacements, change in procedures.

  • Compliance with all relevant process procedure, guidelines, rules & regulations
  • To work and solve problems independently and be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment

Risk Management

  • Embed new Operational Risk framework into monitoring processes and report any escalations to Management.
  • Monthly monitoring of CST and performance measurement of KCIs

Governance

  • Work closely with Operational Excellence & Change management team members to understand key issues and processes and drive automation of processes.
  • Adherence to mandatory certifications and operational requirements

  • To hold assigned roles of First Aider/ Fire Warden/ ADCC as appropriate and discharge the expected responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Finance, Risk Management or related fields.
  • Formal training in risk management, data analytics, or financial markets preferred.
  • Risk-related certifications (e.g., FRM or equivalent) are desirable. Proficiency certifications in MS Excel Advanced and experience in Python will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
