Job Requirements

1. Scope of the Role

To drive end-to-end sourcing and commercialization for Premium Watch Brands (Edge, Nebula, Xylys and future premium brands) by ensuring timely development, supplier capability enhancement, commercial excellence, cost competitiveness, quality, and supply continuity. The role will work closely with Design, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Finance and global suppliers to enable successful product launches and sustained business growth.

2. Job Profile

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for premium watch components and finished products.
  • Lead sourcing activities for New Product Development (NPD) from concept to commercialization.
  • Identify, evaluate, develop and onboard domestic and international suppliers.
  • Drive techno-commercial negotiations, cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
  • Prepare component-wise cost analysis to support pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Manage procurement activities including RFQs, Purchase Orders, Vendor Approvals, NDAs and commercial documentation.
  • Ensure timely availability of development and production components to meet project milestones.
  • Drive alternate sourcing, dual sourcing and supplier risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance across Cost, Quality, Delivery and Responsiveness.
  • Coordinate supplier quality improvements, rejection resolution and corrective actions.
  • Maintain procurement master data, supplier records and SAP transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Policies, IFC, SOPs and statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, localization and productivity initiatives.
  • Build strategic relationships with key suppliers to support long-term business objectives.

3. Key Deliverables

  • On-time support for all New Product Development (NPD) launches.
  • Timely procurement and delivery of development and production components.
  • Achievement of annual sourcing cost savings and value engineering targets.
  • Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality performance as per business targets.
  • Development of alternate and dual sourcing for critical components.
  • Timely closure of commercial negotiations and procurement documentation.
  • Accurate SAP master data and procurement records.
  • Zero procurement compliance and audit deviations.
  • Improved supplier capability through periodic reviews and development initiatives.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration ensuring successful commercialization of premium products.




Work Experience

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant procurement experience.
  • Experience: 2–6 years in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement or Supply Chain; experience in Watches, Precision Engineering, Consumer Durables, Automotive or Engineering Manufacturing preferred.
  • Functional Competencies: Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Techno-commercial Negotiation, Cost Analysis, Value Engineering, Vendor Management, SAP (MM), Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint, Project Management.
  • Behavioural Competencies: Analytical, negotiation skills, stakeholder management, communication, ownership, execution excellence, process orientation and continuous improvement mindset.
