Role Objective

To lead and strengthen quality systems across manufacturing operations by driving process control, compliance, defect reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing a high-performing quality team.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • B.Tech from a recognized university with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO standards, audits
  • Expertise in SPC, quality tools, and inspection methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with RCA, CAPA, 8D, DMAIC
  • Exposure to APQP & PPAP frameworks
  • Team leadership and stakeholder coordination
  • Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma exposure (preferred/highly valued).

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and monitor Quality Control & Quality Assurance systems
  • Lead inspection and testing across incoming, in-process, and final stages
  • Analyze inspection data and convert findings into corrective improvement actions
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory norms
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC tools
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead CAPA, 8D problem-solving activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues
  • Develop and mentor Quality Assurance personnel
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management
  • Support APQP, PPAP, and new product/process quality readiness
