Position Summary
Assistant Manager, QA and Business Analysis supports delivery through business analysis, requirement management, stakeholder collaboration, and structured solution validation. This role works across business and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and support quality outcomes through test execution and delivery support. The role is suited for a professional with experience in quality assurance, requirement documentation, and enterprise delivery environments.
Work you'll do
As an Assistant Manager, QA and Business Analysis on the Business Analysis and Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation across stakeholder groups
- Analyze and convert business requirements into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and stakeholder sign-off
- Lead the QA lifecycle including test planning, execution, and reporting; derive test scenarios from requirements, manage the defect lifecycle, and support user acceptance testing signoffs
- Lead and mentor a QA team of 3–5 members, ensuring delivery alignment, quality standards, and timely execution
The Business Analysis and Quality Engineering team supports delivery across enterprise technology initiatives by helping define requirements, validate solutions, and improve execution quality. The team works across business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to support delivery governance, traceability, and testing outcomes. Professionals in this team contribute to solution quality across platforms including collaboration, content management, and workflow tools.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Master of Computer Applications
- 6–8 years of experience in quality assurance, business analysis, or delivery support, including experience leading or mentoring QA teams of 3–5 professionals
- Experience with requirement gathering, business requirement analysis, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and functional documentation
- Experience leading test planning, test execution, defect management, and user acceptance testing support
- Experience with QA methodologies and one or more automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint On-Premises and Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including backlog management and test plans, and experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration, content management, or workflow platforms
- Experience working across business and technical stakeholder groups in enterprise environments
- Experience with test reporting, quality metrics, or delivery status reporting
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives in QA or business analysis workflows
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 or SharePoint transformation initiatives
