As a Software Intern at GE Precision Healthcare LLC, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge healthcare software solutions, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software modules for healthcare applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Document software designs, specifications, and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve software development processes.
- Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Python, C#).
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
