Job Purpose/ Summary
The Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET. in the DRI Plant is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the plant to achieve production and quality targets. The role involves monitoring process parameters, assisting in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, conducting routine inspections, and identifying operational abnormalities for timely corrective action. The DET works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth plant functioning, adherence to safety and environmental standards, and compliance with operational procedures. Additionally, the position contributes to process optimization, equipment reliability, record maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining technical expertise and practical experience in DRI plant operations.

Job Description
The Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET. in the Business Excellence department at the Bhopal location is tasked with supporting the seamless and efficient operation of the plant. This role is pivotal in ensuring that production and quality targets are consistently met. The DET is responsible for monitoring and analyzing process parameters, assisting in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, and conducting routine inspections to identify any operational abnormalities. The role requires close collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards, as well as compliance with operational procedures. The DET is also involved in process optimization and equipment reliability initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This position offers the opportunity to gain technical expertise and practical experience in plant operations, while also maintaining accurate operational records and reports. The DET is expected to actively participate in troubleshooting and promote good housekeeping practices, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
